Body
I have not tried a lot of lush body care. Here I have some foot care and soap, which is classed as body care I guess…
The Godmother Soap - £2.95 per 100g
Stepping Stone Foot Scrub - £2.95 each
The price of this is amazing because you can get a few uses
out of it. I cut it up into 6 pieces and use one or two to do my feet. It has a
beautiful citrus smell to it as it has lemongrass in it. It is not very
exfoliating, but it does leave you with lovely soft clean feet.
Volcano Foot Mask - £5.75 for 125g
I was recommended this when buying the foot scrub.
Apparently they use this as a treatment at the Lush spas, so I thought it would
be amazing. In a way it was… The smell is not the best, but it is very
moisturising. You put this mask on, and then wrap your feet in plastic. So I
did this and it felt very cooling. This soon turned into a tingle which I liked.
However, it then got a little painful. The nice tingle started to feel like pins
poking me. After washing it off my feet were pretty red. I think I had an
allergic reaction to an ingredient in the mask, as sometimes my skin is fussy. I
soon put some lavender cream on which soothed it. It did make my feet
beautifully soft though, they felt great next day! So I think this product is
amazing, I just wish I didn’t react to it. That’s the problem sometimes with
natural products though…
